Pregnancy is one of the most intense and transformative times in a woman's life. A time full of waiting, mixed emotions and daily discoveries about your body, your relationship and the family taking shape.
A space designed around you: soft light, carefully prepared backdrops, a warm room where you can relax and feel safe. Perfect for classic, artistic and black and white portraits. We take all the time we need: no rush, no pressure — just you, your story and the camera.
See packages →Your maternity session can include your partner, older children, even your dog. It's a moment for the wider family: we capture the closeness, the glances, the hands on your bump, the stolen kisses. These are the photographs your children will want to see one day. Your partner, siblings and the family dog are all welcome at no extra cost.
See packages →The first year of life, told properly. The baby session holds the early months: tiny hands, little feet, first smiles, the moment they sit up. Smash cake celebrates the first birthday with a cake all of their own to explore, taste and destroy. Two different ways to tell the story of the same year: choose one, or combine them in a single project.
See packages →Six colour worlds, each with its own wardrobe, backdrops and light. They're all included: choose the one that feels most like you, or combine more than one.
Do you have your own palette, your own mood, a specific idea? Let's build the setting that reflects you.
A selection of maternity sessions shot in the studio and outdoors.
Four options to tell the story of the wait and the first months. From the essential memory of the bump to the maternity + newbornproject, through to the baby session with smash cake to celebrate the first milestones.
Can be added to your maternity package when booking.
Not just a shoot: time designed around you, your body and the life growing inside you.
We talk before the shoot: we choose the palette, discuss outfits and I send you a mood board with my suggestions. We set the date around week 30-34, when the bump is round but you still move comfortably.
About 2 hours, with all the breaks you need. In the studio you'll find a warm room, water and herbal tea, and a place to sit between outfit changes. If you get tired we stop: the aim is for you to feel good, not to survive a marathon.
Natural, respectful retouching: I correct temporary imperfections and adjust light and colour, but I never change your body. You receive everything in high resolution and web-optimised, in a private online gallery protected by password.
Everything you want to know before your maternity shoot: the right timing, what to bring, what to expect. If you can't find your question, write to me with no obligation.
The ideal window is between week 30 and week 34. The bump is already round and visible, but you still move comfortably and aren't too tired. If you're expecting twins or have a higher-risk pregnancy we bring it forward, usually to week 28-30. We talk it through together in the pre-shoot consultation, with no rush.
You can bring whatever you like: a dress you love, your partner's shirt, lingerie that makes you feel good. In the studio I also have a maternity wardrobe with flowing dresses, tulle, veils and drapes in various colours (red, black, beige, white, blue, pink) that you're free to use. In the pre-shoot consultation I send you a mood board with my suggestions based on the palette we choose together. Golden rule: solid colours, soft fabrics, no busy prints.
Absolutely, and I'd recommend it. A maternity session isn't just a portrait of you: it's a portrait of the family you're becoming. Your partner, older siblings, the family dog — all welcome at no extra cost. These are the photographs your children will want to see one day.
Both options are possible and included in the package. In the studio in Garbagnate Milanese (Milan) you'll find soft light, carefully prepared backdrops and a warm room, perfect for classic, artistic and black and white fine art portraits. Outdoors we can go to parks, beaches, your home, a place that means something to you. With the Classic package you can combine up to 2 locations. For travel beyond 30 km from Garbagnate a small expense reimbursement applies.
The shoot lasts about 2 hours, with all the breaks you need. No rush, no pressure. There's always water, herbal tea and somewhere to sit between outfit changes. If you get tired, we stop. If you need a cushion, it appears. The aim is for you to feel comfortable, not to survive a marathon.
It depends on the package: Petit, 12 selected photographs; Classic, 20 selected photographs; Waiting Family, up to 30 photographs across the maternity and baby sessions. I deliver everything in high resolution (suitable for printing) and web and social-optimised versions. You'll find them in a private online gallery protected by password, to download whenever you like, forever.
Standard timings: Petit, 10 working days; Classic, 15 working days; Waiting Family, within 20 days of the second session. If you need them sooner — for a gift, a birth or an announcement — Express delivery takes 5 working days for €35.
My approach to retouching is natural and respectful. I correct temporary imperfections (redness, small spots, tired dark circles) and adjust light, colour and shadow, cleaning up the background if needed. Your pregnant body is perfect as it is: I don't slim bumps, I don't erase stretch marks, I don't change proportions. If something makes you uncomfortable, tell me and we'll talk about it: it's your portrait, you decide.
No problem, pregnancy makes its own rules. If you feel unwell, are hospitalised or give birth early, we reschedule at no extra cost, even with just a few hours' notice. If the baby has already arrived, we turn the maternity session into a Baby session or Smash Cake: your deposit stays valid.
Yes, that's the Waiting Family package from €420. It includes the maternity session (like Classic), a baby session within 6-12 months of the birth, the smash cake before the child's first birthday, up to 30 photographs in total with a single gallery and 2 fine art prints 40x60 of your choice. It's the most coherent way to tell the story of the wait and the growth in one photographic project.
It happens, and it's completely normal. Children aren't professional models: they have their own rhythms, their good moments and their bad ones. My job is to adapt to them, not the other way round. If they cry we stop: we take a break, they feed, they settle in your arms — and often those are exactly the moments that make the tenderest, truest photos.
