Pre-shoot consultation
We talk before the shoot: we agree the mood, palette, location and date, and I send you a mood board with advice on outfits and colours. For families with children we plan the timing together, so nobody gets tired.
The shoot
About 2 hours in the studio or on location, at your family's pace. Children aren't professional models: if they cry we stop, if they're shy we let them settle in, if they get tired we take a break. Often those are exactly the moments that make the truest photos.
Retouching and delivery
Natural, respectful retouching: I correct temporary imperfections and adjust light, colour and background, but I never change proportions or features that are yours. You receive everything in high resolution and web-optimised, in a private online gallery protected by password.

Which family session suits us best?
Petit Session (2 hours, €210) for families with small children or shorter sessions. Classic Session (2 hours, €360) for families who want more variety and time. Special Session (30 min, €120), perfect for Christmas, Easter and holidays with themed sets.
Where do the sessions take place?
Depending on the session, you can choose the studio or an outdoor location. Themed shoots are studio-only, with ready-made sets and seasonal scenery.
What does the 'holiday set with decorations' in the Special Session include?
Themed sets for Christmas (tree, lights, decorations), Easter (spring flowers, pastel colours) and other holidays. All ready for short but striking sessions, perfect for holiday cards.
How should we prepare?
Choose outfits that work together in tone, avoiding big logos or busy patterns. For couples, neutral colours and soft fabrics bring out the closeness. For families, bring a spare change and comfortable clothes for the children.
How many people can take part?
Family sessions are designed for the immediate family (parents and children), with the option of including grandparents. If you'd like to extend it to other relatives, get in touch: we'll work out the best option for the number of people and the photos you want.
How many photographs will I receive, and in what format?
It depends on the package: Petit, 12 selected photographs; Classic, 20 selected photographs; Waiting Family, up to 30 photographs across the maternity and baby sessions. I deliver everything in high resolution (suitable for printing) and web and social-optimised versions. You'll find them in a private online gallery protected by password, to download whenever you like, forever.
How long does delivery take?
Standard timings: Petit, 10 working days; Classic, 15 working days; Special, 10 working days. If you need them sooner, Express delivery takes 5 working days for €35.
How does the retouching work? Will you retouch faces or bodies?
My approach to retouching is natural and respectful. I correct temporary imperfections (redness, small spots, tired dark circles) and adjust light, colour and shadow, cleaning up the background if needed. I don't change proportions, I don't slim figures, I don't erase features that are yours. If something specific makes you uncomfortable, tell me and we'll talk it through: it's your portrait, you decide.
How do I book? Is a deposit needed?
Booking is simple: you fill in the booking form choosing your family package, we have a free introductory consultation to agree mood, palette, location and date, and you confirm with a deposit. The balance is paid on the day of the shoot. I accept bank transfer, PayPal and cash.
What if the children don't cooperate, cry or get tired?
It happens, and it's completely normal. Children aren't professional models: they have their own rhythms, their good moments and their bad ones. My job is to adapt to them, not the other way round. If they cry we stop: they'll settle in their parents' arms, and often those are exactly the moments that make the tenderest, truest photos. If they're shy, we let them watch before we start shooting. If they don't want to be touched, we work at a distance, with everyday gestures. I plan generous timings precisely to leave room for the unexpected, and if the day really isn't right we reschedule at no extra cost.
Can I include the dog or other family pets?
Absolutely, and I'd recommend it. A family session isn't just a portrait of the people: it's the portrait of the family you really are, fur and whiskers included. The dog, the cat, the rabbit — all welcome at no extra cost. Bring their favourite snacks and a toy that calms them: it helps keep them present and relaxed during the shoot.
Can the photos be given as gifts or used for invitations and celebrations?
Yes, all sessions are designed to create memories you can share: prints, invitations, photo gifts or home décor. The images come in formats suited to every use.
What makes a couples or engagement session special?
It's a moment dedicated to just the two of you, to tell your story honestly. Every shot comes from spontaneous gestures and glances: no stiff poses, just connection and ease. Perfect for engagements, anniversaries, or simply to celebrate everyday love.
